Introduction
Ch. Adalat Hussain (Shaheed) Education School and Vocational / Technical Training Centre / Welfare Trust meant exclusively for the benefit of the underdeveloped and underprivileged segment of the society. It offers free (nominal dignity fee, from Rs 20 to 300 per month, depending upon the financial health of parents) quality general education, vocational and Technical Training with a aim to develop citizen capable of facing twenty first century challenges. Seed money has come from part of an individual’s service benefit sale proceeds.
This declaration of Trust is made at Jhelum on 27 January 2017 by the Trustees (which expression shall mean and include their successors of Trustees hereafter as Members) in the name of Ch. Adalat Hussain (Shaheed) Welfare Trust which also may be known as “Ch. Adalat Hussain (Shaheed) Education School and Vocational / Technical Training Centre / Welfare Trust”.
Ch. Adalat Hussain (Shaheed) Profile
NK Adalat Hussain joined Army in Punjab Regiment on 24 July 1950. He was posted to 1st Punjab on 20th October 1951. He volunteered to join Special Services Group (SSG) in 1955 and was posted to one of Baloch regiment as part of SSG in November 1956. He received induction training as part of Shaheen Training Company and was further posted to Ebrahim Company. In 1965 War, he participated as part of Gibraltor Force and jumped in Enemy rear area, a landing zone. His valiant story has been narrated by Subedar Haq Nawaz war Veteran of 1965 who is still alive. He tells that “Adalat Hussain was reputed as an exceptionally dedicated and loyal soldier with extreme passion. On 5th September at about 1500 hours, Company reached Parachute Training School and were briefed by Company Commander on un-foreseen operational task. With negligible information about enemy and drop zone that too based on 1907 origin aerial photograph and party was dropped at about 0230 hours at the height of approximately 1200 feet. Senior Junior Commissioned Officer Sub Allah Ditta and NK Adalat Hussain were last in order of stick during jump. Before jump our plane picked up more speed and height as it was detected by enemy radars. Generally, jumper to jumper distance is about 100 meters however, we were landing beyond 300 meters and assembly at target area became a critical issue. Resultantly, few of us landed near enemy Air Base. NK Adalat landed on the outer fringes of out skirt of small town near airbase and struck up in a big tree, next to him was Sub Allah Ditta who landed in plane area. NK Adalat immediately released his shoot and landed on the ground and resultantly his leg was fractured. Sub Allah Ditta wanted to pick him back, but he refused to be picked up while fully understanding the criticality of the task versus his life. He told Sub Allah Ditta to immediately leave for the mission and he will cover his back as the villagers were already out with shot guns and sticks to hunt them down. On utter insistence of NK Adalat, Subedar Allah Ditta left and NK Adalat did provide him a cover to ensure safety of the force for the subsequent greater task. While fighting with the hunting parties and covering the back of the force, NK Adalat Hussain sacrificed his life for a greater cause and proved himself a true specimen of a Commando with absolute loyalty to the country and faced the fate without any fear”.
